Prodom Winery, which brings the passion of wine to the table, was founded in 2010 in Aydın's Umurlu district. After the grapes grown in Turkey's famous terroirs are meticulously harvested, their first destination is the winery. The grapes are sorted with very precise methods and transferred to tanks or presses, where they await aging in French oak barrels. The wines in our winery get better as they age, and as they get better, they bring a unique taste to your memories.
Vintage is one of the most critical elements of the grape, which is the essence of wine. The grapes are handpicked with the utmost care and attention and transferred to crates, which are then transferred to cold storage. Upon arrival at the warehouses, the grapes are cooled there overnight before proceeding to their magical journey.
And they look forward to the moment when they can keep you company.
The grapes picked by our farmers are processed in two-stage sorting belts after cooling and then placed in the press machines with the acceleration of gravity. The first must, the fascinating legacy of the pressed grapes, is transferred to temperature-controlled tanks and then, fermented. The density and temperature of the wine are continuously controlled at any point during fermentation.
Fermentation of Chardonnay and some Sauvignon Blanc grapes is initiated in chrome tanks and completed in barrels made of 100% French oak. Using the Sur Lie method, the yeast sediment is kept in the wine, periodically mixed together, and rested.
The wines, which reach their perfect taste after maturing, are filled with automatic filling machines without letting air in. The wines, which are poured into Prodom bottles with quality and care at every step, are waiting in cold cellars with temperature and humidity control to be delivered to you and cherish your beautiful memories.
